FAQs

Here are some of the most common questions we get asked. If you can’t see an answer to your question here, please don’t hesitate to get in touch. Alternatively, book a tour and let us answer your questions as we show you around.

Is it exclusive use?

 

Yes, the venue will be exclusively reserved for you and your guests. Please be aware that a Bridleway runs through the venue as well as a farm access track. This will not impact your wedding day, but a clearway must be kept at all times.

Are the barns heated?

 

There are heat lamps within the main barn which can be used as required, the cowshed barn and open barn do not have provisions for heating. Additional heaters, if required, are available through our recommended supplier list. Please ask if you want more information on this.

Are dogs permitted on site?

 

We do allow dogs on-site, however, they must be on a lead and chaperoned at all times. Dogs are not permitted to be allowed to roam free within the grounds and surrounding area as there will be livestock in close proximity to the venue.

Do we need wedding insurance?

​

Yes, we recommend couples takes out wedding insurance as soon as they pay their deposit.

​

Can I bring my family / photographer / florist to see the venue?

 

We encourage your suppliers to come and view the venue before the wedding day if feasible. We ask for any visits to be arranged with our wedding team to ensure visits fit around our availability. There is no charge for supplier visits.

Can we bring our own alcohol?

 

Any alcohol on the premises must be provided/agreed upon with your drinks package provider. The provider must also provide a licence to serve alcohol and is a requirement for all weddings serving alcoholic drinks. Please see our recommended supplier list or ask for any further information.

What do we do if we have any questions?

Will we have a meeting to discuss our wedding?

 

Yes, as each wedding is unique to each couple, we encourage communication throughout your planning to ensure you have the best wedding day and everything runs smoothly, we suggest an initial meeting after booking and a follow up meeting once all suppliers have been arranged.

Will there be someone on hand to help on the day?

 

Yes, we live on-site and will be present throughout the wedding to help with venue coordination for all your suppliers. We recommend you have a dedicated wedding planner/coordinator to ensure your day runs smoothly, please see our recommended supplier list for options.

What happens if it rains?

​

If you have chosen to have any part of your wedding day outdoors, we will advise you beforehand of back-up plans should the weather be an issue on the day. We will discuss further during setup and on the day itself should we need to look into these secondary options.
